Acceptance
By accessing or using Salus, you agree to these terms. If you use Salus for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
The service
Salus provides runtime authorization for AI agent actions. It evaluates proposed tool calls against configured policy and evidence and can allow, return a revision, request approval, or block an action. Depending on the integration you configure, Salus may return a decision to your application or broker a permitted action to a provider.
Features, limits, and support commitments may also be governed by an order form, pilot agreement, or other written agreement with Salus. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your agents, policies, integrations, credentials, and the systems to which you connect Salus. You must test configurations for your use case, restrict access appropriately, and choose how your integration behaves if Salus or another dependency is unavailable.
You may not use Salus to facilitate unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity; probe or disrupt the service without authorization; bypass usage or access controls; or infringe another person’s rights.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and workspace. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
Your data
You retain your rights in the policies, configurations, action data, and other content you submit. You authorize Salus to process that information as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. Our Privacy Policy describes the information we process, our service providers, retention, export, and deletion.
Third-party services
Salus can connect to services that you or your organization enable. Your use of those services remains subject to your agreements with their providers. Salus is not responsible for a third-party service outside our control.
Fees
Paid use is subject to the pricing and payment terms shown at purchase or in your written agreement. Except where required by law or stated in that agreement, fees are non-refundable.
Availability and changes
Unless a written agreement states otherwise, the service is provided without a service-level guarantee. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may limit access when reasonably necessary to protect Salus, our customers, or others.
Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, Salus is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Salus does not replace your responsibility to assess and supervise your agents and connected systems.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Salus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, Salus’ aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid to Salus for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Salus at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or nonpayment. After termination, we handle data according to our Privacy Policy and any applicable written agreement.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Salus changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions may be sent to founders@usesalus.ai.
